Welcome to the Chelsea Heights Football
Club homepage.
Chelsea Heights Football Club's home is located at
Beazley Reserve on Thames Promenade, Chelsea Heights.
The club plays in the Southern Football League in Metropolitan
Melbourne. Historically, the club made its ground in
the now redundant South West Gippsland Football League,
where it played teams from the Mornington Peninsula
and Westernport Bay areas.
More recently, success has come in the SFL, with the
club celebrating Senior Premierships at Division 3 level
in 1995, and Division 2 in 2000. Since establishing
itself in Division 1 in 2001, Chelsea Heights has featured
regularly at the business end of the season, having
appeared in finals between 2002-2005, and just missing
out in the last two seasons.
The club is constantly striving to go one step further.
With a strong level of committment by all concerned,
could this year be "The Year of the Heights".
With Thanks to our Valued Sponsors.

Congratulations to Interleague Squad
Players
The interleague squad was announced last
week for both Seniors and Colts which is the first step
to selection of the final teams to play Riddell District
FL on Queens Birthday weekend. Congratulations to Jayden
Attard, Ash Beasy, Ryan Flack, Chris Vlahov, Darren
Walsh and Paul Wineberg for their selection in the senior
squad, as well as Dale Finn and James Spicer who were
invited for the Colts. This is great recognition for
outstanding performance through the early part of the
season. We wish them all the best for inclusion in the
final team.
Player Auction & Karaoke Night
Success
After a strong start to the year, and wins
in all three grades for the second consecutive week,
the Annual Player Auction and Karaoke Night was a resounding
success. With over 80 people in attendance, some great
bidding was done on the Auction teams before the 'would
be' stars took over on centre stage.
And there was some amazing talent on display
too. Buckwheat's rendition of 'We Didn't Start the Fire'
will be spoken about for years to come, while the Colts
boys Damo, Finny and Jesse brought the ladies to water
with their Backstreet Boys act, featuring matching boy-band
jackets and bondy singlets. Bowen looked a bit like
Hugh Heffner as he strutted in with his entourage, and
Trav's 'Working Class Man' effort capitalised on his
'in-and-under' persona.
Lets continue to make each Social Function
a success and support the club throughout the season.
Upgrade to Lights Imminent
After a patient wait it appears that the
wheels are in motion to replace some of the lights at
Beazley, of which 4/7 are currently out of order. This
is great news for the club and particularly encouraging
for the plaing group who have been patiently training
in difficult light conditions over the early weeks of
the season.
With great numbers on the track this will
enable training to utilise the whole ground and generally
improve the facility for all concerned. A big thanks
to Peter Uren for his continued work in making this
happen.
